At bedtime, I turn off Rowan's light and sway with him by his crib for the length of me singing the ABCs. I did the same thing with Lyla when she was a crib kid.
Think about how many kids get to the "L M N O" part of the alphabet and honestly think "Elemeno" is a letter or, God help them in kindergarten, "Enemeno." Not my kids. I hit each of those letters with its own explosion of air. "L! M! N! O!" It's not very soothing as a bedtime technique, but if they avoid the Elemeno plague, then at least I will sleep easier.
