Tomorrow's the first Monday of summer.  On Tuesday I'm driving to Duluth to pick up Gramps, and then we're heading up to a Grand Marais log cabin for three nights.  Same trip as last year, but this guy...

...is a year older, which might make a big difference and might not.  Here's Rowan a year ago:

That's a lot of change, considering about 40% of Rowan's life has happened since that photo.  For contrast, about 1.15% of Gramps's life has happened since that photo.  But in that 1.15%, he broke his hip, healed, and had all sorts of other old man issues that I'll eagerly hear about over gigantic steaks.
