Good missing

I like missing the kids but knowing we'll see them tomorrow. It's a good way to miss someone. I imagine some parents of young kids rarely if ever get the chance to miss them. It seems counterintuitive that you would ever want to miss someone, but on the other hand, without that occasional distance it would be all too easy to just go through the motions of your life.
